Our Privacy Commitment

VidpaiAI is a privacy-first AI video creation platform. By default, all AI processing happens locally on your device using open-source models - we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal content or files.

Two Processing Options:

  • Local AI (Default): Content processed on your device with built-in models - maximum privacy
  • Cloud API (Optional): You can connect your own API keys - data goes directly to AI provider, not through VidpaiAI

Data Collection & Processing

Local AI Processing - Your Privacy First

All AI processing happens locally on your device. Your videos, audio, and content never leave your device during AI processing. This ensures maximum privacy and security.

  • AI models run directly on your device using open-source technology
  • Your content files are processed locally - not uploaded to our servers
  • No personal content transmitted to external servers during AI processing
  • Complete offline processing capabilities

Minimal Data Collection

We only collect essential data necessary to provide the service:

  • Account Information: Email address, username, and password (encrypted)
  • Usage Analytics: Anonymous statistics about feature usage (no personal content)
  • Generated Content: Videos you choose to save in your account (stored securely, you can delete anytime)
  • Payment Information: Processed securely by Creem (our payment processor - we never see your card details)

Optional Third-Party AI API Integration

You can optionally choose to connect your own API keys to cloud-based AI services (such as OpenAI, Gemini, etc.) for additional features:

  • You control the connection: You provide your own API keys directly
  • Direct communication: Your content is sent directly from your device to the AI provider you choose
  • VidpaiAI does not intercept: We do not see, store, or process data sent to third-party APIs
  • Third-party policies apply: When you use external APIs, their privacy policies govern how your data is handled
  • Completely optional: You can use VidpaiAI fully offline without any cloud API connections

What We DON'T Collect

  • Your video or audio files during local processing
  • Personal content uploaded for AI processing
  • Data sent to third-party APIs (when you use them)
  • Identifiable information from your content
  • We don't sell your data to third parties
  • We don't use your content to train AI models

Built-in Open-Source AI Models

VidpaiAI includes high-quality open-source AI models as plugins (run locally):

  • NVIDIA Parakeet (speech recognition)
  • OpenAI Whisper (transcription)
  • Kokoro (voice synthesis)

These built-in models run entirely on your device with zero data transmission.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

VidpaiAI Does NOT Access Your Content

When using built-in local AI models, your content never leaves your device. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal content with third parties.

  • Built-in AI processing keeps your content on your device
  • We do not access or store your videos, audio, or creative work
  • No content transmitted through VidpaiAI servers
  • Your data is yours alone

When You Use Optional Cloud APIs

Important: If you choose to connect your own API keys to third-party AI services (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.):

  • Direct connection: Your device communicates directly with the AI provider
  • VidpaiAI is not involved: We do not see, intercept, or store data sent to third-party APIs
  • Third-party policies apply: The AI provider's privacy policy governs how they handle your data
  • Your responsibility: You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the third-party provider's terms
  • Your control: You can disconnect APIs at any time

Essential Service Providers

We only work with essential service providers for non-content operations:

  • Payment Processor: Creem (for subscriptions - no content shared)
  • Cloud Infrastructure: For hosting the platform (account data only, not content)
  • Analytics Services: Anonymous usage statistics only (no personal data or content)

  • Encryption: All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
  • Secure Storage: Passwords hashed using industry-standard algorithms
  • Access Controls: Strict limitations on account data access
  • Open-Source Models: Transparent, auditable AI technology

Note: While we implement strong security measures and local processing provides maximum protection, no system is 100% secure. We continuously work to enhance security.

How Your Data Flows

Understanding where your data goes helps you make informed decisions:

Your Content (Videos/Audio)

  • With local AI: Stays on your device
  • With cloud API: Goes directly to AI provider (not VidpaiAI)
  • VidpaiAI never accesses: Your creative content

Account & Usage Data

  • VidpaiAI collects: Email, username, usage stats
  • Stored securely: Encrypted on our servers
  • Not shared: With third parties (except payment processor)

Payment Information

  • Handled by: Creem (Merchant of Record)
  • VidpaiAI never sees: Your card details
  • PCI DSS compliant: Secure payment processing

Your API Keys (Optional)

  • You provide: Your own API keys
  • Stored locally: On your device only
  • Direct connection: Your device ↔ AI provider

Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled securely by Creem, our Merchant of Record (MoR):

  • Creem processes all payments and subscriptions on our behalf
  • Your payment information (credit card, billing address) is sent directly to Creem
  • We never see or store your full payment card details
  • Creem is PCI DSS compliant and follows strict security standards
  • Email receipts and customer support for payments are provided by Creem
